I knew the customer was going to cause some problems

I went to a residential repair to help a customer with a heat pump problem.

While I was working on the heat pump repair, the customer tried to ask me a bunch of questions about the air conditioner.

I was trying to be helpful and I did my best to answer their questions, but I was working on the heat pump and I had a lot on my plate at the time. I politely asked the customer to give me a few minutes to work on the heat pump and she got very upset. She disappeared into the house and I finished working on the heat pump repair. She signed the invoice and didn’t say anything to me at all. I went back to the office and my boss wanted to speak with me. The lady called the office and told my boss that I was being rude and discourteous. He wanted a full explanation of the events and he wanted me to sit down and write it all out. I couldn’t believe my boss actually believed a word that came from her mouth. The guy made me sit in the office and fill out a full page report of all the events that occurred that day. I thought he was going to give me a suspension, but he didn’t say anything else after I filled out the paperwork. It’s been several days since the problem occurred and I still have not heard from my boss, so I think it is safe to say that nothing is going to happen.
